USPS paused deliveries to an entire zip code in Seattle

DMUK
Out-of-control crime in the Democrat-run city of Seattle forced the United States Postal Service (USPS) to pause deliveries to an entire zip code for a week.

Around 900 residents in the 98118 zip code did not receive their mail as delivery services were halted due to mail theft and ‘equipment security concerns’.

They were told to pick up their mail from the local post office and stood in long queues of up to an hour while delivery services were paused for a week before UPS lifted the ban on Tuesday.

Thieves had stolen a master key which is used by the USPS to open collection boxes, cluster box units and outdoor parcel lockers.

It comes as Seattle continues to experience rampant crime, drug issues and battles huge rates of homelessness.  read more

  1. What are the local politicos in Seattle gonna do when African-American grandmas start guarding the mail boxes on their own with pump shotguns?

  2. I’m going to be in Seattle in a couple of weeks. If I make it to the ship and back to the airport in one piece I’ll be happy. I wonder if it’s worse than San Francisco? I know how to get in and out of that city fast.

  3. In Sacramento it took the Post Office 3 weeks to deliver a bill that went 40 miles and almost 3 weeks a bill that went 60. Meanwhile I’m getting harassed for not paying my bills.

  4. The Postal service has been infested with the Woke virus.
Where I live they stopped delivering bulk mail (which is fine with me) and called off delivery for weather a couple times this winter, not just rural but local also.
Schools shut now if someone sees a snowflake.

  5. The PO around these parts only picks up outgoing mail when they feel like it, and NEVER on a Friday or Saturday. Now we have no go zones in Seattle, just like Paris.
