MLK’s battle cry of “judge by the content of their character not by the color of their skin”was deep sixed about 20 minutes after his death! Then it was, and only has been, about race victimization!
Also, character matters a lot more than smarts when you are putting someone in charge of vast power and money.
Pretty hard to buy into “judgements of character” when the person spouting that is an amoral scoundrel…but it’s a nice sentiment.
Nothing against MLK personally, just don’t care for hypocrites.
