Today a congressional hearing was held regarding a proposed assault-weapons ban. Reportedly emotions were high and Dianna Muller testified she would not comply with an assault ban. Muller “served in the Tulsa Police Department for 22 years and is the founder of gun advocacy group the DC project” and today she “was among the witnesses at the House Judiciary Committee hearing” reported Fox News.
The hearing focused “on the practicality of a ban, pointing out what they claim were mainly ‘cosmetic’ differences between weapons such as the AR-15 and standard semi-automatic hunting rifles.”
Beginning in the video around 03:40 – Ms. Muller was asked, “you served as a law enforcement officer during the time that the previous assault weapon ban was in place from ’94 to 2004. Did you see any impact, anecdotally, on your safety as a law enforcement officer or on those you were sworn to protect and serve?” WATCH
…of COURSE they know the differences are cosmetic.
…and that’s what they’ll say when they come for the HUNTING rifles NEXT, you don’t boil a frog all at ONCE, you know…
Remind me again exactly how a new assault weapon ban would happen? By presidential order, from president Harris or Beto? By both House and Senate passing a bill and the president signing it? All options are pretty inconceivable.

Many people talk big before the fact, then do nothing but comply after it.
…if they keep pushing, we can turn them in, sure… ammo first, one round at a time, from millions of citizens, ask the British how that worked out for them a couple hundred years ago and expect THAT x10…

I’m not too worried about the will of the American people to resist. Individuals perhaps, but there are plenty who will resist, and they will inspire even more.
I will not tolerate any further infringements on my RIGHTS.
Not interested in living in a world run by criminals – that includes wannabe tyrants and their minions.
Not only will I not comply, I will “actively deter” (* translation needed) anyone approaching my dwelling for such purposes.
* Blow their heads clean off.
The line in the sand has been drawn. Woe be unto those who would cross it.
When citizens have to retake control from the criminals parading around as leaders in Washington we will need the best weapons.
