Vermont Governor Instructs Schools To Interrogate Students About Family Thanksgiving Gatherings

Federalist-

Vermont Gov. Phil Scott is giving schools the green light to interrogate students about their Thanksgiving activities following the break.

According to Scott, students or parents who admit to violating the state’s holiday travel and gathering rules will be forced to participate in online school for two weeks, he announced via Twitter on Tuesday. The penalty will be reduced to one week if the students in question take a COVID-19 test.

26 Comments on Vermont Governor Instructs Schools To Interrogate Students About Family Thanksgiving Gatherings

  1. If I lived in Vermont and the public schrools told my my kids to rat us out as a public service to their ungodly and unconstitutional edicts and mandates, I would give my kids permission to tell the schrools to go to Hell and would back them up with every fiber of my being. Of course my kids wouldn’t be in public schrools, we did perfectly fine with my 3 kids never going to a public schrool and they are normal well adjusted adults all in their early to late 30’s now. This may be the only comment that I make today as I want to stay focused on being thankful for all the blessings that I have as a free American citizen. May God bless us all on this wonderful day of Thanksgiving despite all the challenges that we have faced this year, God is still in charge and the left isn’t and never will be unless we give up and I refuse to give up on my beloved country ever.

  2. Since the governments are going Stasi:
For ANY interrogation by schools or their police: Give your kids a copy of the 5th Amendment and your attorney’s name and law office information printed on a small card. Any time a school employee or cop asks a question about your family or home life tell your kid to read it out loud and then shut up and tell you about it as soon as possible.

  3. The governor has made school teachers and staff “agents of the state.” Therefore, the students cannot be forced to tell them anything.

Not that there is any ‘rule-of-law left’ to appeal to.
