Historian Victor Davis Hanson described why he feels his home state of California is America’s first “Third World state” during a Monday night appearance on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”
Hanson’s comments came after the state’s Democratic governor, Gavin Newsom, said that national Republicans will go “into the waste bin of history, the way Republicans of the ’90s [in California] have gone.”
Responding to host Tucker Carlson’s question about why he considers California a “Third World state,” Hanson pointed to “symptoms” we typically “associate with failed states” such as high taxes, poor schools, a super-rich class, and a significant percentage of its people below the poverty line.
“We have the most billionaires of any state in nation and then we have the largest underclass,” he said, blaming in part the overturning of the “very popular” Proposition 187, which would have denied non-emergency healthcare to illegal immigrants.
“That was unfortunately part of a perfect storm,” said Hanson, describing the millions of people who chose to move elsewhere over the next two decades. more/watch

Great interview.one that everyone should watch. We have seen what Liberal Judges and Legislators can do to destroy a once great state. California was destroyed in less than forty years. This country didn’t have another couple of decades if President Hillary Rodham Clinton hadn’t met her match in the most unlikely candidate in history.
Newsom ordered the rainbow flag flown over the capitol for the entire month. Land of “fruits and nuts” indeed.

Wait until California’s Hispanics learn they don’t have to elect a white middleman. They can take Whitey’s boodle even faster by electing one of their own.
How soon will Calif be in a state/condition ready to be returned to Mexico? Giving them back one of their lost provinces.
A funny thing is I grew up living in the Scott school district. In the neighboring county are two towns. Scott Depot, and Winfield. All named after General Winfield Scott. Who captured Mexico City thereby winning the Mexican-American War. We soon gave most of it back to them. But Calif. seems to be determined to become worthy of being sent back too. Or in a state we want them to go.
Calif. may turn into a real – The Ransom of Red Chief – story. We’ll pay Mexico to take back their troublesome lost province.
