Taking a look at just the last 10 depressing thread topics posted about our growing national nightmare, I wonder where they went (not just here, everywhere I go).
Who?
All those who used to proudly say “it can never happen here” because this nation was somehow special and blessed by God, so He would not allow exactly what we’re seeing: imminent collapse.
Strange that no matter where I go, I don’t hear them arrogantly pontificate upon His alleged gentile favoritism anymore, and how He would preserve the U.S. forever as (I guess) His new blessed Israel.
Well, He isn’t because we ain’t.
We’re fundamentally no different than any other heathen nation that’s ever risen and fallen, because human nature never changes. We’re no different and no better than anyone who came before us.
God says this plainly and so He isn’t playing favorites. Most don’t want to agree with Him on this. They prefer comforting myths.
We either pull ourselves out of the nation’s long death spiral, or we fail and the U.S. perishes into the dust of history. God isn’t going to step in and do anything for us.
Don’t wait for God he’s out of town on business, we own it now. He’ll be upset if we don’t handle it right.

@grool Yes, well said. The pride and arrogance of man knows little to no bounds. From the garden and even unto this very day, man puts his myopic blinders on, pats himself on the back for all of his “accomplishments” and living on the reputation of their forefathers.
Vanities of vanities, it is all vanity. So many take the first step and then get led astray by the doctrines and traditions of men. They end up worshiping the creation, not the Creator. This is the continuous cycle of mankind, to venerate and serve self, instead of He who is Truly worthy of praise and worship. YHWH shows us the end from the beginning and that the ways and outcomes will be cyclical. Isaiah 46:10; Eccl 1:9, 3:15.
Prov 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the Torah, even his prayer shall be abomination.

God says in Chronicles 7:12-14, “If My people, called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and repent of their wicked ways, then I will hear in heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land”. It starts with those of us called by His name. He will use us in His own way, but He is waiting for us to start.
I watched/had it on while getting ready this morning and thought it was pretty interesting. Not lame.
YAH always works in cycles, and I see that we are in the portion where He is calling His “watchmen” to warn that the day that shall burn as an oven is on the horizon. A time for us all to cast the seed of His Word and admonish ALL (ourselves included) to repent and make straight the Way of YHWH.
Mal 4:4-6 are happening now, preparing for Mal 4:1-3. Yet, many are answering the shofar warning as those in Jer 6:16

I was waiting for someone to bring that up.
With all respect, I must be blunt: God was not talking to or about any Gentile nation when ahe said that.
That was a promise directed SOLELY to the Israel of old and, take note, it was contingent upon their national repentance according to the covenants He made with them. Spoiler: they didn’t.
Point is, the U.S. is not Israel, nor is anyone else today (not even the 1948 “Israel” with the blue and white flag).
grool, I agree there is no nation of Israel today. The original nation disappeared long ago, when they rejected Jesus and I don’t believe the political nation that exists today is the Israel of the Old Testament. However I do believe that God is still calling on His people to repent and seek Him. And I believe if we do so, He will bless our land and heal us. Not just the USA, but anywhere His people live and follow Him. I don’t think you and I are really that far apart on this. God doesn’t play favorites and His blessings on America are not guaranteed. But He is faithful to His people and will hear them when they pray. May God bless you and keep.
And there is Satan’s greatest deception, the division of YHWH’s people. If you claim covenant with YHWH, then you ARE part of Israel or under the tent of Jacob. Being in covenant with Him is more than acknowledging His death, burial and resurrection, for “Many” will claim Him as Master, yet He will reject them who work lawlessness (Matt 7:21-23).
Iniquity = Lawlessness!
Exod 33:13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found favor in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may KNOW THEE, that I may find favor in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. 14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
Hosea 5:4 They will not frame their doings to turn unto their Elohim: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known יהוה.
The division of the kingdom by YHWH, and the subsequent creation of a “new” religion by the northern House of Israel (Ephraim), is the perfect shadow of christianity and ALL of her derivations. For it was the fear of the people returning to Jerusalem at the feasts of YHWH, etc… which caused the king to create a “new church”. I Kings 12:24-33, but really all of the chapter and others. It was always His plan to divorce, disperse, sift and regather the House of Israel (Ephraim, Northern Kingdom, House of Joseph, etc…) through the nations. Back into One (echad) people (Ezek 37).
Contrasting His Eternal Truth vs the dogma of religions (ie “papal infallibility”, dispensationalism, osas, tulip, replacement Th, et al) is something which I would rather rest my soul. It is the undeniable history of “the church” and all that it has done “in the name of god” to not only those *IT* called “heretics”, but it’s very own people which speaks volumes as to whom we should put our emunah (trust + obedience). The cycle of man’s religion vs the Way of YHWH. The Good tree can ONLY bring forth good fruit, yet the corrupt tree can only bring forth evil fruit, no matter what facade it tries to convince you of.
Truth does not require the redefining or creation of words to represent that which has been from the beginning. You will only find the supplanting of the Truth to redefine, redirect and obfuscate.

All are man made wedges to divide. This is the cyclic history of man. Research the history of Judea leading up to the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD and Jerusalem in 135 AD. Learn how the persecution and taxation of Hebrews was the catalyst for the growing Greek influence in causing the wedge of separation to be planted. Also read regarding Epiphanius or any other ante-nicene “church” father and see the visceral hate they had for anything “jewish”. Martin Luther was a “jew” loathing “anti-semite”. See his own writings, as there is no dearth of information regarding this subject. I do admit that you have to be careful in the sources used, as there are extreme polar opposites that paint as evil or squeaky clean (yet still tainted) an image of Luther as possible.
ALL of the apostles and first century Messianic sect of Judaism known as the Way (Acts 9:2; 19:9, 23; 22:4; 24:14, 22) were, until their deaths, Torah pursuing “believers”. YHWH has continually rebuilt, restored and renewed through repentance. There is nothing new in the writings of the apostles, only the clarification or complete fulfilling of meaning of how to Love YHWH and your neighbor. Showing us that it is NOT only mechanics of Torah (building habits) required to Love, but to do it from the heart. What is this Re[new]ed covenant, but to circumcise the heart of man, that we would desire to know and abide eternally in His Torah/Love. Deut 10 is a nice (shadow) summation, along with Jer 31, Ezek 36 and Heb 8.
Believe and walk as you will, but, as for me and my house, we will serve the Holy One of Israel. The Elohim of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. The Father of THE Messiah Yahshua. Father to ALL natural and adopted covenanted Israel.

There is no law covenant in force today between God and anyone.
Not with any Gentile people.
Not with those claiming to be Jews (Israel).
Nor is there any covenant with the Body of Christ (all who are saved). They need no covenant as they are permanently members of Him and of His fulness.
To claim 2 Chronicles is Gentiles attempting to steal a covenant promise that God never made with us, onw which He cannot even honor today because Israel doesn’t exist to claim it.
