California’s violent crime jumped in 2023 even as national levels decreased, according to FBI figures released this week.
The Golden State saw a 3.8 percent rise in violent crime over 2022, driven by a spike in aggravated assaults and an increase in rapes and robberies, the federal data show. These same crimes fell by 1.7 percent throughout the rest of the United States.
The FBI report comes as California Democrats in city halls and the state capital remain committed to soft-on-crime policies. Democratic lawmakers this year refused to crack down on fentanyl dealers or impose harsher sentences on violent gun-wielding criminals, while George Soros-funded district attorneys in Los Angeles and Oakland seek light sentences for murderers and looters. Los Angeles earlier this month set a cashless bail system that releases criminals after their arrest. MORE

My youngest is at a gun store picking up a Springfield 1911 they’re having a killer sale on. My daughter in law just called. She has to wait in the car with my 18 month old granddaughter. Children under 18 are no longer allowed in gun stores. They can read porn at the school library but the state doesn’t want them looking at those evil guns.
I’d clutch my pearls at the news, but somebody stole them.

They think honest folks strolling thru the Capitol, concerned parents who don’t want trannys in the school’s girl’s bathrooms, or Christians praying silently on a public forum for the souls of aborted children, these are to the FBI real criminals, while doctoring phony FISA warrants, spying on a sitting president, and lying to Congress, these are just peachy keen.
If Wray or his FBI stooges said the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, I would want a second opinion.

It’s still not legal in California. One of the many law suites that faggot Newsom recently lost was the stupid limits California puts on handguns. Their “Drop Down list of state tested and approved handguns”. The court gave California 6 months to refile, so far they haven’t. And even if they did the court will not vary. When that happens I’m going broke celebrating. And an SFX 9 might be my first purchase. Wilson builds very cool stuff.

Another gun on their list, well several really, is Dan Wesson. I’ve shot several V Bobs. Brand new, right out of the box. Smoothest cycling 1911’s I’ve ever shot. All Ed Brown parts basically. You’re buying an Ed Brown at 1/3 the cost. What a shooter. Commander length, 4 1/4. Easily concealable and a big pill.
There’s no bail, there’s no charge for theft under $950, there are thieving democrats in office everywhere, and there are street lunatics and bums everwhere. Duh.
That Dan Wesson 1911 that Brad referred to I bought on Brad’s recommendation. A friend of mine is a genuine Delta Force guy and he’s fired it a few times and thinks he’d like one himself. I haven’t fired enough different handguns to really be an expect but between Brad and my buddy I’d say that’s a good recommendation.
