Virginia school board votes against state issued transgender policies

Independent Chronicle:
The Augusta County Virginia School Board unanimously voted Thursday night not to adopt model policies for the treatment of transgender students put forth by the state’s Department of Education.

β€œI do not think that any child in Augusta County Public Schools should ever be bullied, harassed, or in any way made to feel uncomfortable in their respective schools,” said Augusta County School Board member Dr. John Ocheltree. β€œLike many parents and grandparents of Augusta County, the Virginia Department of Education policy does not sit well with me.”

The DOE model policies include eliminating gender-based practices, ending gender-based homecoming/prom court, canceling events such as “Father-Daughter” dances, and organize overnight lodging for field trips based on gender identity, not biological sex, as pointed out by Mary Vought, executive director at the Senate Conservatives Fund. more

  1. My neighbors!! Some clever soul or group designed a very official looking announcement about the agenda for the recent school board meeting (to which citizens are not usually officially invited) and it blew up facebook. Every God fearing, church going, hard working, tax paying parent and grand parent showed up at the meeting.

Don’t try to tell farmers and hunters there are more than 2 genders.

  2. It seems that the “transgenders” are always boys trying to get into girls’ spaces. The female to male “transgenders” are usually just dykes and they enjoy the view in female spaces. Also, a girl in the boys’ locker room might feel threatened by swinging dicks and it is for this very reason the boys pretending to be girls should keep their swinging dicks outta the girls’ locker room.
