   Their positions are STUPID, and they’re so proud of themselves and they were so vocal about how much smarter they considered themselves…

   but the solution is SIMPLE. But they can’t/won’t go there.

   So, there is NO REASON to feel sorry for them.

3. Volvo and Shaguar are both committed to full EV by 2030 or so – and the Volvo ad is for an EV. That said, the Volvo ad is great, and has already received huge positive response.
   Also, the answer to who owns it… China. China owns Volvo Cars.
   Note that Volvo Trucks has been a separate entity since before 2000, still Swedish. It also owns Mack Trucks and Renault Trucks. Who knew?

4. volvo used to be a solid ride. had the ’07 xc90 and a 2013 xc90. since China owns them i am out. some dude had a brand new one and jokingly offered me a trade. i asked why, he said that since china owns volvo everything is smaller and plastic in the interior

6. I counted 5 separate “woke” themes in this ad as well. Yes, it is more subtle and less in your face than the Jaguar ad, but the agenda exists, nonetheless.
