NYP: The Washington Post has retracted its story about Russian hackers penetrating the nation’s electricity grid with a virus found in a Burlington, Vt., electric company laptop.
“Authorities say there is no indication of that so far [that Russians had penetrated the US electric grid],” according to an editor’s note attached to a corrected version of the story on the paper’s Web site. READ MORE

Ahhh, the good old Washington Compost.
WaPo still claims to be very profitable.
We’ll see how they fare under Trump.
The truth of the matter is that just about all the countries with the tech know-how have been testing both their allies and their adversaries networks for years. In some cases (mostly it seems the Russians and the Chinese) it’s not only testing but stealing industrial and in some cases defense technology. I would suspect the Americans have been one up so far in this race however Obama gave away part of the game when he decided to go public on one aspect of this struggle for puely political reasons. In his twisted minds the American people couldn’t possible have rejected Obama’s America had these emails not been so dastardly published. He pressured the CIA and the NSA to create a report that was so full of generalities and opinions but no hard facts that tried to taint Trump’s incredible victory against long odds. Obama is a self-important, arrogant and conceited liar who won’t stop even when shown the door on the 20th. Trump ought to open a full investigation to determine who gave the CIA and NSA (and maybe Justice and the FBI) their marching orders on this one as well as dictated their findings before the investigation began. I’ll bet it’s a convoluted trail leading back to the Macbeth of American politics, Obama.
The damage is already done. I received two calls from relatives in the Ireland and England over the weekend. They both said in different ways that it “was a pity that the Russians interfered, meddled, hacked the election, otherwise Hillary would have won.”
I didn’t even argue. I just wanted to get off the phone. It’s true, who ever said it: “a lie can be half-way around the world before the truth can get its boots on.”
President Trump will have his hands full. Pray for him and America.
