KOMO-
LACEY, Wash. — A commercial truck driver was arrested at the scene of a six-car pileup crash that involved a school bus in Lacey on Thursday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the driver of a semi-truck that was hauling cars slammed into the back of the school bus just after 7:00 a.m. on I-5 near Martin Road.
Troopers said the driver of the semi did not have a commercial driver’s license, insurance, or a valid medical card. more h/t Mrs.6Pak
Padlock the doors on the company who hired him as a driver.
Juan Hernandez-Santos, 40, of Huentitlan, Mexico.
The media is playing games with his immigration status. What I heard is he is an illegal alien, ad has not been been hanging out in Mexico.
Could be that Washington State “lost” any record of them having issued him a CDL too. It is EXACTLY the kind of shit they routinely pull here.
Yeah, company employing him has to be held responsible for damages and the particular individuals need to be brought up on criminal charges.
It’s amazing how quickly companies will respond when you just do that once or twice – ultimately saving at least dozens of lives and millions of dollars, long-term hundreds of lives and billion$.
he was probably on his phone
