A large group of Black Lives Matter protesters made their way to, and inside Seattle’s City Hall on Tuesday night. Led by none other than a city council member, according to a report.
Kshama Sawant, a sitting member of the Seattle City Council, could be seen in pictures and videos which showed hundreds of protesters filing into city hall after Sawant allegedly let them in. Once inside, the Protesters began chanting “Durkan must go,” a reference to Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan whom the protesters believe allowed the police to use aggressive tactics against demonstrators, such as tear gas and other crowd dispersal techniques.
As Breitbart’s Penny Starr reported on Tuesday: “Protesters who are part of a wave of unrest across the country in the wake of the death of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis police on Monday took over city blocks in Seattle, set up barricades, and some have implied on social media that they will use armed guards to secure their occupation.
“The people hunkered down in Seattle have dubbed it Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone with a tag line to ‘free Capitol Hill,’ according to Twitter posts and a Capitol Hill Seattle Blog website, which detailed the development.”
Durkan was specifically targeted in a lawsuit filed earlier on Tuesday, by those seeking to punish city officials for what they believe have been aggressive police tactics. Last week, several leftist leaders in Seattle called for Durkan’s resignation after she declined to guarantee that the police would not use tear gas. watch

Let’s just watch for a while. The problem with dangerous, yet loony groups like antifa wreaking havoc is that the government officials that enable them look to the state or federal government to bail them out. If the state/federal government sends in the National Guard to retake free Capital Hill or City Hall, then people like Sawant can still claim sympathy with these people while hiding behind the remedial efforts of others.
These are your elected officials, Seattle. You put them into place to do damage, so let’s see how they do in fixing things. My guess is that like socialists world wide, Sawant and her cohort will fail miserably. But you’re not going to learn this lesson unless the rest of the state and country let it play out.

If it was a white nationalist group that took part of a city, they’d all be calling for the military to bomb them into yesterday.

State or local justice system will do nothing about her. Hopefully Trump’s DOJ will nail her on a federal charge.
How soon will the Seattle Police arrest her, if ever. Nobody is untouchable unless they’re a protected minority and she fits that bill to a T. Can they fire her for insubordination and violating her oath of office as a City council person? I know how they should deal with her and it’s not pretty.
