Donald Trump surprised the crowd at a dog rescue event in Palm Beach on Friday. The former president shared the reason he dropped by for the unexpected visit.
“So, I didn’t exactly prepare for this, but I was walking by, and I hear everyone screaming … and I said, [‘What’s going on?’], and she said, ‘We’re going to help dogs,’ and that’s OK with me,” Trump said. The audience lost it.
“The crowd responded with a standing ovation for President Trump, Lara Trump and Laurie Simmons for the work they did to pass the first national anti-cruelty bill to protect animals,” Chase Scott, spokesman for Big Dog Ranch Rescue, told a local NBC affiliate.
“Trump also hinted that his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, may run for the U.S. Senate,” NBC reported.

Trump is a hero. Not sure if “just walking by” and him going in was really that spontaneous, but if he supports animal rescue, all else is all right by me.
He may be the first president to be at such a meeting. That sits well with us who love our pets, which is most of the American people.
This makes me sad 😢. He’s are really and true president. He should be in the White House. Doing what he does best. Keeping American great. Love you President Trump!
