Watchdogs Find Major Issues with Clinton Foundation Foreign Cash Ban

Breitbart: Experts who’ve dedicated years to demanding government transparency say there are several serious issues with Bill Clinton’s promise to ban all corporate and foreign donations to his family’s troubled charity should Hillary win in November.

Karen Hobert Flynn, president of Common Cause, a non-partisan watchdog group, said there are “lots of different ways” that the Clinton Foundation can work around the former president’s promise that the “Foundation will accept contributions only from U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and U.S.-based independent foundations.”

“You could have some kind of LLC or other partnership where it isn’t even clear who the donors are,” Flynn said, according to The Hill.  MORE

  1. A charity watchdog group gave the Clinton Foundation a top rating on Thursday, after Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid renewed public interest – and scrutiny – in the nonprofit.

    Charity Navigator, an organization which evaluates charities to help inform donor decisions, has given the Clinton Foundation four out of four stars for financial health and accountability.

  2. Maybe Samuel Jackson can do a “What’s in your wallet?” commercial for the Clinton Foundation PrePaid Visa card – do you really think they are not stockpiling donations now?

  3. This is akin to our elected placing their investments into a blind trust” during their tenure. Well, that’s been looked into and that “blind” part was somehow able to see into the future like a motherfucker. Most especially when the member was on a committee that operated in the areas that somehow seemed to overlap the investments sequestered.
