Weak 11: Fans Finding Other Things to Do, Empty Seats Fill Stadiums Everywhere

Breitbart-

With the NFL’s Week 11 action wrapping up, it quickly became clear that football fans had found other things to do as thousands of empty seats could be seen in stadiums from coast to coast.

With TV ratings off nearly 20 percent over all and the networks already known to have lostup to $500 million in ad revenue, it is becoming clear that last year’s 12 percent decline wasn’t because of the raucous political season, a claim that served as the excuse for the 2016 season’s ratings loss.

The ratings slide is reflected in the skimpy attendance at the stadiums, too, with Week 11 photos showing that there are still empty seats galore.

Raiders’ Marshawn Lynch Sits for U.S. Anthem in Mexico City, Stands for Mexican Anthem.

Breitbart Sports- The Raiders and the Patriots traveled to play a game in Mexico City during Week 11 of the NFL season. And it appears, at least in one case, they brought their politics with them.

Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch has not stood for the U.S. national anthem at all this year, and he continued that practice in Mexico City on Sunday. However, when it was time for the Mexican anthem to be played, suddenly Lynch felt inspired to stand:

  1. College football is a much better game. I’ve been tuning out the nfl for years and now I don’t watch it at all. This pushed it over the edge for me. The left politicizes everything.

  2. NFL’s social justice whiners……….Well Bless their heart.

College football games are well attended and much more enjoyable. No knelling, no disrespect no theatrics.

NFL’s social justice whiners………..I have nothing but anger for the hypocritical oppressed, race baiting $Multi-Millionaires.

You never shit in your own nest, dumb asses.

  3. Lynch is such an asshole. Has he noticed how few blacks live in Mexico. Has he thought about why? Oh, yeah… He’s black; so he likely doesn’t apply actual thought to a goddamn thing.

  4. And King Wimpy, RG, wants a jet for life and $50M. Has he pulled his head into the daylight to look where all the fans went? When he’s out on the golf course, he is trying to find his balls!

  5. THE SEASON NO ONE WATCHED

2017 will go down as the season that never was, that was never watched, that no one cared about.

With so many injuries to stars, BLM players, suspension of Ezekiel Elliott, spineless Roger Goodell, Illuminati 1/2 time show ‘tards, IT’S A HOT MESS.

  6. If the ad revenue is actually down $500 million at this point then you have to be sure that the loss is being carried back to the NFL via the TV contracts which must have guaranteed minimum audience numbers. If that’s the case then the owners are having to write checks back to the NFL to give the money back to the networks. Then the really fun calls begin when the owners call the players agents to tell them the bad news that the next set of contracts are going to be quite a bit lighter then todays. Then watch Marshawn Lynch lose his blockers in the next few games and when he doesn’t stand for the National Anthem it won’t be for political reasons it will be because he can’t.

  7. Of all the NFL/BLM types out there, you’re not going to find one who can see a link between their politics and empty stadiums. Maybe next year, when most of them are out of jobs and replaced by younger players at a fraction of the cost, they can thank Kaepernick.
