The 2011 Cardinals have a squirrel on their World Series ring because a squirrel ran past Skip Schumacher in the batter’s box.
The Cards were like 11 games out in late August at the time.
The Cards rallied right after the squirrel ran past, won that game, then kept winning to make it into the wild card game then ended winning the Series.
Rally squirrel is a legend in St. Louis.
Just don’t take a squirrel to church.
