NYP: White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Thursday defended President Biden’s recent weekend trips to Delaware despite the COVID-19 pandemic, saying that’s where he lives.
A reporter pressed Psaki at her daily press briefing on whether Biden was setting a poor example on “personal travel during the pandemic” when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is urging people to avoid non-essential trips. more
The nonessential trip is the one from Wilmington to DC.
Seems a shame he can’t find housing in D.C.

It’s about 100 air miles from DC to Wilmington, and he has to take Marine one from the White House to Joint Base Andrews to transfer to AF1.
For decades, past presidents have used just Marine one for equivalent distance trips, and not wasted so much money and manpower.
But they’re not vacations….
