What’s At Stake And What Do You Have To Lose In The Midterms?

The Lid: Tomorrow the midterms of 2018 will indicate whether or not the Trump revolution will continue to try and reverse the progressives’ attempt to destroy the core of what makes America great. Donald Trump ran on making America great again, but the Democrats would rather promote progressive values – values that would do the opposite. What do you have to lose? Everything.

The core of values that made us great has nothing to do with racism, greed, or any of the other myriad flaws the progressives love to point to as reasons we should be ashamed of our culture. The real values that made America the greatest country in the history of the world was the belief in self-reliance and the distrust of others (government) deciding what was best for us. This meant committing to the hard work, planning, and sacrifice needed to be self-reliant and not dependent on others.

Anyone with a smidgen of historical awareness can contrast what the earliest colonists and settlers did with the with the “It takes a village” mentality of modern day progressives. Can you imagine a Millennial snowflake, someone on mommy’s and daddy’s health insurance, who needs safe rooms and comfort animals to help them get over the result of an election, risking crossing the Atlantic to settle an unknown New World? Does anyone even believe these pampered and entitled Millennials would cross the Alleghenies or the Great Plains? There wouldn’t be an America if those brave men and women practiced progressive values. more here

  1. My mom has a conversation with her African American neighbor today. The neighbor volunteered to my Mom without prompting that her family was voting for “Mr. Trump’s candidates.” Mom asked if they were voting Republican and she said,” Yes, right down the line.” They had voted for Hillary in 2016.

Why are they for Trump’s candidates? 1. Don’t like the caravan and giving money to illegals 2. The economy. She started a new job with better wages. All her friends/family are working and doing well and 3. She thinks the Dems are crazy and have gone too far left and she hates the hate she sees in the streets.

So, this Columbus OH, in a lower middle class neighborhood. How many other places is this similar situation repeating itself? 👍🤞🇺🇸

  2. We can have the pre-Cavanaugh hearings world or the post-confirmation world. We can have lies wrapped in deceit and hatred or lies proven false and harmful.

It’s up to us the voters.

Vote early and often on Tuesday and demonrats vote on Wednesday.

  3. The direction of the country is the glaring reason but my biggest motivator is the possibility of seeing the left go absolutely rabid batshit crazy when they lose again. I can hardly contain my anticipation.

  4. Reagan said that Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. He was wrong on the time frame — we can lose our freedom in just one election cycle.

We can NEVER slumber again for years on end, thinking that all is well. Eternal vigilance and civic participation/knowledge is now necessary all the time.
