Lots of safety warnings on airplanes, many false alarms, usually a pretty high scrutiny above all the automated ayatems. Anyone recall “safety emphasis” periods in airline operations? Yes, pilots during labor negotiations, would look harder and “write-up everything”, and lo and behold, flight delays and cancellations go up to about 25%….were we all 25% more at risk before this emphasis period? Not really.
Yeah, we know itz supposed to be Diversity Inclusion and Equity, but we also know what it really means!

OK, as an electrical engineer and a retired pilot myself, I would still walk around the aircraft and inspect all the critical locations. For some reason, I don’t trust any DEI hired personnel to determine if my aircraft was male or female.

Why give anything more than the absolute minimum knowing there are no incentives to give it all you got? Board rooms, powerful government agencies, and banks are using their leverage to promote blacks, homos, and DEI above all else. Education, skills, hard work ethic, motivation, reliability, people skills, character, networks, ambition, integrity, all gone. Ask the Post Office how that’s worked out for them.
What is happening over the last three years is not organic. There is no doubt an element of the normal happenstance but the concentration and type of events is absolutely without historical precedent.
