White House On ‘Paid Protesters:’ ‘We Know Who They Are’

WASHINGTON — Sean Spicer said the Trump White House knows who the rioters that have violently protested pro-Donald Trump and conservative events are.

 After an event featuring Milo Yiannopoulos on the University of California Berkeley campus was canceled this week because protesters set the campus ablaze and pepper sprayed people wearing Trump gear, the president tweeted, “Professional anarchists, thugs and paid protesters are proving the point of the millions of people who voted to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

The Daily Caller asked the press secretary Friday if the White House would investigate the “professional anarchists and paid protesters.”

  3. Spicer’s dispassionate response to that question pricked my ears up, too. I’m wondering if he has been told to not make a ‘thing’ out of it so as not to queer planned DoJ action.

  4. They need to go after these groups and those that fund them really hard. Anyone who behaves in a menacing manner or uses assault and battery, arson, and destruction of property as a mean of protest is committing an unlawful act of domestic terrorism and should serve time in prison. They should serve as an example and as warning to anyone who feels tempted to do the same.

  5. I have no problems with groups of people (that free association thing) protesting what they see as a ‘wrong’ that their government is doing. Make you some signs, gather in a group and make your grievance known.

    But. As soon as you resort to violence, destruction, and riot I don’t care how hard the cops kick your ass.
