Ukraine destroyed the Kakhovka dam in an “unthinkable crime” intended to harm Crimea for choosing Russia in 2014, Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia, told the Security Council on Tuesday. according to a report by RT.
“Feeling its total impunity and being encouraged by Western sponsors, the Kyiv regime decided to carry out this terrorist plot this time,” Nebenzia claimed. Before the destruction, the dam guide told the tourists that they could take all the dam pictures they wanted. He warned them not to lean over the dam fence, not to cross the dam street without looking and to wear shoes while walking on the dam concrete. From the Ukrop point of view, blowing up the dam was a great way to redirect attention away from the catastrophic failure of their “counter-offensive” Thousands of UA soldiers dead in a couple of days, hundreds of armor and tanks destroyed, and no significant gains to show for their efforts. In fact, things are going so badly for Ukraine, the disaster is being spun as “successfully stopping the Russians from advancing.” Winning!
I’ve been seeing unmarked Abrams tanks going up I-275 in Cincinnati towards I-71, I-75, and points north on civilian flatbed haulers. Not sure what that’s all about, could be headed for I-70,and East coast ports or up to MI and the Great Lakes. Anyone know anything about tank shipping logistics?
They were talking on the BBC about all the landmines that are now lost and displaced after the dam breach. The side that blew the dam was the side that didn’t expect to hold or gain the ground.
My money is on Ukraine given how poorly their “offensive” has gone and the prospects they have of even holding the ground.
