15 Comments on Why Bill Gates & China are allowed to buy farmland in the USA

  1. This can all be fixed by judges and congressional representatives that use just a little bit of common sense about laws and court decisions.
Guess we’ll never see it fixed.

  2. When you rely on Congress to fix it, it won’t be. You want fix, make some noise. Put the pressure on each critter. They’ll snap to when their seat is on the line.

It’s that simple. Yet top hard for most Americans. That’s why we are where we are.

    God bless America

  3. Factory farming of animals requires massive abuse of pharmaceuticals that results in the formation of pathogens immune to treatment. Hormones used to improve feed to weight ratios and time to slaughter have proven to be harmful to humans.

The market has been the strongest influence in putting to a halt these dangerous practices, however, the draw of cheap meat still leaves most of them largely dominant in the sector. There has been pressure from regulators, but complicit legislators and administrators will often put a stop those measures.

The influence of processors in agriculture goes back well over 100 years. As a boy, my father worked tomato fields in Weber County, Utah in the 20s and 30s. Transplants were shipped in by Del Monte from nursery fields in the Moapa Valley in southern Nevada. The plants were 4′ to 6′ long, packed bare root rolled up in damp burlap. The transplants would be distributed to contract farmers at the factory, then the field hands planted, watered, fertilized, cultivated and then harvested the fruit, all of which went to the factory for processing, in fulfillment of the contract.

That is still how much of agriculture works in the US.

In that same era in Utah, sugar beets were grown under contract for U & I Sugar. Fruit orchards were under contract to a dozen or so canneries. Other vegetables were grown at various times, onions being the most recent…and likely the last, as lately, houses seem to be the preferred crop.

The contract assured income, lessening risk, but also eliminating sharing in potential windfalls.

The problem is not so much factory farming as it is monopolies and oligopolies among the buyers. There are only two major meat packers left in the US, both of them foreign owned…Brazil and China, iirc. Like any good monopoly, they have been using regulators to limit competition. While costs per pound have been falling, the costs to consumers, not so much. Much of the production is being shipped overseas (China), creating scarcity in the US market…assumedly, since they are supplying the figures.

A key goal of Agenda 21 was the rewilding of America. The majority of farmland, pasture and grazing area was to be returned to its natural state, or a close approximation of it. I think that is that creep Gates’ motivation. China has needed to import food to feed its people since the 1500s. The fight to colonize Southeast Asia was not over spices, it was the rice trade with China.

Anyway, what we need is some good old American trust busting (with a good dose of nativism). I’m not sure Trump is up to it, him having that slimy businessman background. Hopefully, his patriotism will win out, as it has in other areas of conflicting interests.

  4. What industry is safe from foreign ownership?

Big American owned businesses are selling our foundational freedom right out from under our feet.

How many HOMES do you need, how big does your YACHT have to be, how many collectable LUXARY CARS do you need, how many $MILLIONS do you need? $50 MILLION? $!00 MILLION? $1 Billion? $1 Trillion?

How easy could you sell your Vital US Business to the country who is our greatest threat, China. How easy is it to sell your farmland to a PERSON or COUNTRY who promoted and financially benefitted from the experimental injection causing the death of 10s of Thousands of our countrymen? How many US employees and Families must lose their lives or Livelihood only to struggle to keep their home, their children cared for and continue to be a viable part of society and their community.

Serfdom indentured servitude with similarities to and differences from slavery. All the while, our Nation has imported MILLIONS of “unvetted” Military aged illegal IMMIGRANTS who are employed by foreign owned businesses. These illegal immigrants are hired at lower wages and benefits who do not share our values and traditions while many choose not to speak English and assimilate to western values. Who can fathom the numbers of young radical ISLAMIC TERRORISTS in our Midst, waiting to strike the heartland? How many more Muslims are not a threat but financially support Muslim Terrorists.

Our Enemy is not only at the Gate, they control the gate, industry, farmland, businesses, cities and communities Nation-wide.

The willingness to sellout our American heritage for $Millions of Dollars and exorbitant luxury items are their 15 pieces of Silver.

Money (greed) is the root of all evil.

    1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

    Acts 8:20
But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!

  5. I’m starting to appreciate RFK more and more. We are certainly lucky to have him on our team. I guess if you are going to buy pork products you should try and find an independent butcher. We have a few around here that only butcher locally raised pigs and cows. It’s more expensive but it is noticeably better tasting.

  6. tctsunami 9:03
“This can all be fixed by THE JUDIDIAL USE OF FIRE AND EXPLOSIVES ”
That, and the willingness to do some research, find a farmer, and buy local.
