New Zealand’s finger-lickin’ posties to deliver KFC.

WELLINGTON (AFP) –  New Zealand Post has announced its couriers will home-deliver KFC fast food, in a trial that could provide a recipe for success as letter volumes continue to dwindle.

  1. I wonder how hard it is to get a food truck licence in Kiwi Land?

My nephew wants to emigrate to NZ.
He and his wife are hiking the southern island this winter/spring.

  2. Hanover: To get a license, you meet more hoops than a Cirque du Soleil act. I wish your nephew safe travels. The South Island is beautiful, even more so in their Springtime. I used Queenstown as my base and traveled out from there. That area is a huge draw for backpackers, lots of hostels to stay in. Christchurch was more challenging to get around as all the landmarks and topography have changed, thanks to the last couple of quakes. I would recommend the falls, but many of those may be dry at the time your nephew is going. Now, another question concerning the KFC delivery. Will meal prices be going up as often as stamp prices?

  3. Colonel Sanders must be rolling in his grave. KFC’s food tastes NOTHING like it did when he was alive. What happened to the secret herbs and spices? He was proud of his product. I met the man at the TV station I worked at and he wanted his standards met or all hell would break out, even in front of customers.
