America Thinker: In March 2011, the cable channel Comedy Central staged a celebrity roast of Donald Trump. Hosted by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, the show featured a crew of B- and C-list entertainers mocking each other and, of course, Trump, the subject of the roast.
What stands out seven years later is how the Democratic-media complex (DMC) seems to have erased its past and changed its standards for no greater purpose than to make Trump’s occasionally crude behavior seem aberrant, if not downright un-American.
When asked today why they hate Trump so intensely, political adversaries are still citing Trump’s willingness to mock a disabled reporter; his Access Hollywood “p—-” tape; and, of course, his presumed racism and imaginary dabbling in white supremacy.
Nothing Trump has ever said or done, however, measures up to the relentless vulgarity on seemingly hilarious display at the Comedy Central roast. Calculating his own political future, perhaps, Trump was the only participant who shied from the gleeful sexism, ageism, racism, slut-shaming, fat-shaming, gay-bashing, and disability-mocking that characterized the evening.
Some highlights:
-Seth McFarlane crudely imitating a deaf person with deaf actress Marlee Matlin on the dais.

-Comedienne Lisa Lampanelli mocking Sarah Palin’s son with Down syndrome.
-Lampanelli making a bulimia joke.

-Lampanelli saying of Trump, “You are the ultimate proof that money can buy good [p—-].” MORE

I miss the Dean Martin roasts. They knew how to be bawdy but actually had wit. Today’s are hit-and-miss, mostly miss with absolute crudeness and they think that any sex joke is funny. I haven’t gotten more than a few minutes in before switching channels.

That was when I saw DJT POTUS ‘look’ at the WHCD dinner when Hussein mocked him.

Just watched it again tonight. It’s still hilarious.
Trump burned everyone down at the end.
He sat through that so he can sit through anything.
What we must not lose sight of here is the fact that Donald Trump IS one of the Elites.
By being cool with this celebrity roast and all of the fake denigration that came with it,
he gained even more publicity and name recognition. Ever since Kennedy, the Presidency has been more about how good you look than what you stand for, and Trump knows that.
What the Anointed Ones can’t forget is that Trump betrayed them – instead of being their Clown Prince, he was actually serious about becoming President and making America great again.
And they’ll never forgive him for it.
Ever.
They looked at it and realized the Comedians were speaking as if at a Democrat fundraiser, and they couldn’t afford to unveil their Private Lives !

This is why I am pro abortion for liberals. I still want it illegal for the rest of America but would like funding and the number of clinics tripled for liberals to have abortions.
I know the NYT has been antiAmerica since 1920. In 1950 it became obvious to me that the Press ,in general, hates America. So it should is not “news” that when America lovers are denigrated by “elite” “entertainers” that the Media is ok.
Now make fun of an incompetent Obama – you will have “Hell’s Fire” rained down on you! Bigotry and American Press (probably all press) are synonymous; and have been , at least, since 1950!
