Will Ex-Sen. Perdue’s Exit Mean Sen. Herschel Walker, R-GA?

Newsmax: Not since Aug. 20, 1956, when former Sen. Millard Tydings, D-Md., suddenly withdrew from a bid for the seat he lost six years earlier, has the abandonment of a former U.S. senator from a comeback campaign had such an impact on his state’s politics as that of former Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., on Tuesday morning.

By exiting the Republican primary for the seat of Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-Ga., Perdue has sparked fresh discussion of candidacies — notably one by college and pro-football legend Herschel Walker.

Perdue, 71, made his announcement that left the punditocracy and fellow pols speechless seven days after filing for the GOP primary.

Sources close to the former senator said he had a private dinner in Florida last week with Donald Trump with the hope of securing the endorsement of the former president.

But the same sources say Trump was non-committal regarding Georgia because other friends of his — notably former Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., —might enter the Senate race.

Collins, who just started his own Atlanta-based radio talk show, told reporters he was “keeping all my options” regarding another Senate race in 2022. read more

  1. We just had the Constitution destroyed as SCOTUS stood by and applauded as the presidency was stolen. Nobody did shit. Every branch of our Government is compromised. So no matter the candidate, it won’t mean shit. The honest to God truth is the deep state faggots kicked Trumps ass. And ours. There’s only one way to fix this and it doesn’t have shit to do with voting. And we no longer have the balls. We get played by our own. Turn in your guns. It’s over.

  2. @Brad — If the fantastic were to occur, and serious men and women were to take action, who do you believe they would remove from the field first? Who are they most important players for the other side, and what would be the effect of their absence.

This is, of course, a purely hypothetical question.

We’re such pussies I’m of the opinion it will start locally in some small berg when the FBI swoop in and tries to confiscate some law abiding citizens broken 15 round mag. We have NO organization, for obvious reasons. If it goes kinetic I think it will start at the local level. It’s imperative to make friends of like minded people that are in close proximity. The Propaganda cycle continues to run it’s course. By are own. Violence is bad. What other recourse is there? And no Patriot in their right mind should be forced to stand up alone. We, gentlemen, are in deep shit. But hey, I’m just a comedian. And off my meds. And we are in a much worse, precarious position then the average person realizes.

  4. Why does a man who votes like a “D” run as GOP?

Seems some GOP in GA have asked that very question the last few months. Unlike GWB’s BFFs Charlie Criss and Snarling Arlen he will not admit he wsa a “D:”from the get go; just drop out.

  5. If the republican party does not clean house, then we need to just quit bitching about what the gov’t does to us.

Our party voted for those bunch of dumbass traitors once, that is their fault. But if we reelect the same scumbags to congress again, then it is our fault, and we deserve the abuse of our rear ends we are certain to get.

  6. IF Walker were to run, watch the Democrats’ heads explode from the possibility of there being another black Republican senator.
    – This should prove that the Republicans aren’t racist – they vote issues.
    – But the racist Democrats will pull out all the stops to smear Walker.
