Woman banned from national parks, public lands after defacing 7

FRESNO, Calif., June 20 (UPI) — A Southern California woman pleaded guilty on Monday to seven misdemeanor counts of damaging government property after she painting graffiti on rock surfaces in seven national parks.

Casey Nocket, 23, of San Diego, used acrylic paints and felt markers to draw on national park features in California, Colorado, Oregon and Utah.  more here

Also, people are going off the boardwalks in Yellowstone to gather geyser water, and falling in and dying probably while taking a selfie another attempted to “save” a buffalo calf by putting it in their SUV- rendering it unfit to rejoin it’s herd. I’m not a big camper or hiker but I love our National Parks- especially the ones in the west. I am amazed at the collective stupidity of people today. At this rate the gubmint will close the National Parks and only allowed gubmint sanctioned tours because of too many people are incapable of using their freedom and common sense to safely enjoy the beauty of America.

  2. This generation is going to send the world back into the dark ages. Their lack of civic responsibility and appreciation for what came before them is astounding, and infuriating as they cry for $15 and hour, safe spaces, and free everything.

  3. Did she actually believe that the reason there was no other graffiti on any of the other rocks and monuments was that she was the first person to think of doing it?
    That right there makes her a sammich maker
