21 Comments on Woman With ‘Special Connection’ to Deer Is Mauled to Death by Aggressive Buck
Dumb bitch tried to Buck the odds and look what happened. Deer me, she was no doubt a fawning admirer of Kamala Harris. Monkey see monkey doe.

Evidently, she had no i de’er that her so called pet deer would turn on her and maul her to death. She’s definitely a posthumous candidate for the FAFO fan club. It’s not nice to fool with mother nature and this is not an anthropomorphic Disney nature film.

I guess she never watched Grizzly Man.
Or, had the same size ego as Treadwell.

Probably should have been better off had she been satisfied with a dozen cats and box wine

The woman had some serious mental and emotional issues. All animals, wild or domestic, have the ability to hurt, or in certain circumstances, kill us.
The comment citing a farmers’ saying, “If it’s got balls, it can kill you”, is pretty accurate. Females, in the wrong situation, will also kill. It’s what animals do. It is what people do, when we allow our animal (base, natural, lizard-brain, etc.) instincts to prevail.
I knew a family, decades ago, who kept goats on their five acre property in rural Texas. Their oldest daughter was nearly killed by one of their billies (polled, fortunately), ramming her repeatedly against a wall when she was outside, alone.
You love an animal by respecting it as an animal. I love animals by avoiding keeping them, though if I am stuck with them, acquired then neglected by a well-meaning family member, with some similarities to the deer lady, I will care for them as best I can.

My special connection with deer is that I eat them…

The gene pool is no shallower without her…

No loss…

She was probably trying to establish a different kind of “special connection” when she got mauled.

AC Parker. Damn right about goats. We had a buck over to breed our nanny years ago. I was about 14 and went into the pen to feed them. He came after me but I was able to grab the horns and keep him at bay until I got out. The next time I went in I laid a 2×4 across his forehead with enough force to wobble him. I needed that 2×4 every time after that until he was “done” with his project.

Many humans also have low trust.
3
In N America, deer kill more people than any other animal. They will literally jump through the window of a car to get at the occupants.

In the running for this year’s Darwin Awards

She probably thought her pet buck was Bambi.
I’ve read that animals are, pound for pound, much stronger than humans. We always should be careful.

My favorite comment was: “I don’t even fully trust my Chihuahua”!

“The next time I went in I laid a 2×4 across his forehead with enough force to wobble him. ”
That paints such a illustrative picture on how to appropriately deal with some people this holiday season.

When I was a kid we lived in Gardiner MT. Mom worked at the Gateway Hospital. My favorite activity was to look at the people coming in who had been mauled.

Back in the early 90’s up around the Deer Park, Wash. area north of Spokane about 20 miles or so a local abortionist who had a small farm was run thru and gored to death by one of his bulls who turned on him and killed him. I remember this because the prolifer’s in this area were picketing a lot of abortion clinics and abortion doctors and it seemed he found a way to fall out of God’s favor in a most gruesome way.

I wonder how many people were killed by the first domesticated wolves.
If you find a fawn near its dead mother call animal control. Don’t try to make it a pet.

UNSTABLE
People (by that I mean women) who blow tons of time, money, energy, emotions, resources on animals are suffering on a spectrum of mental illness.
