White House insiders say that President Trump is prepared to ‘go nuclear’ if Mexico imposes a retaliatory 20% tariff on pork products.
Sources say the President is prepared to impose a blanket 20% tariff on all imports of “cheap sh!t” – a move that would affect nearly 90% of products coming from Mexico and threatening that country’s economy with certain collapse.

IF Mexico weren’t so corrupt they could have solved their problems long ago, and in doing so, been less of a problem for US.
Tariffs are about the only leverage we have to even up trade imbalances-tariffs on imports also encourage buying products made domestically, at a lower price.
