JTN – Occidental Petroleum quietly sold off a carbon capture facility – the world’s largest — that was built into a natural gas processing plant in Texas, according to a Bloomberg Green investigation.
The plant, called Century, never operated at more than a third of its capacity since it was built in 2010. According to statements the company made to Bloomberg Green, the technology worked, and the facility continues to operate as designed. read more

It is a money laundering operation, they all are. If you doubt me, just take a look at Al Gore’s real estate portfolio and don’t stop with him. Carbon Capture from all the ethanol plants is a double detriment.
First, carbon emissions from these plants is a waste because they are not needed.
Second, ethanol from these plants added to gasoline raises the octane rating and causes a lower BTU. This reduces the combustion cycle and causes more fuel to be burned resulting in fewer miles per gallon. These are pure, simple facts. Adding ethanol to gasoline has always been a Dept. of Agriculture program to boost farmers corn production and not save the planet.
We’ll just sell the CO2 back to you. Duh.
