“If I had to, I would, but I don’t think it’s necessary,” Carson told Charlotte’s 99.3FM radio on Monday. “I believe that people can actually move beyond the label.”

Carson then noted that he gets support from Democrats all the time. Host Keith Larson then noted that Carson was one of the candidates who raised his hand during the first GOP debate to signify that he would not run outside the party.

“Well, I don’t see a situation where I need to run outside of it,” Carson said again. “I see a lot of intelligent people at the rallies that we go to, both Democrats and Republican, mostly Republicans, mostly conservatives.  more here

  1. Dr. Carson is Seventh-day Adventist. With the teachings of the church, he’ll never get elected. Seventh-day Adventists believe that the Pope is the antiChrist. I’m just waiting for the media to latch on to that. Furthermore, he’ll have difficulty serving pork, shrimp, crab, lobster, wine, coffee and tea in the White House. Seventh-day Adventist preach against those things as well.
