May God continue to bless you CPO William “Bill” Monfort. Wow, 108 years old is a heck of a good run.
Happy Birthday, squid!
(Slow salute)
Happy birthday Chief.
My wife’s dad just celebrated his 98th, he can get out of a chair faster than I can. He won’t talk about his WW2 experience at all, we know he joined when he was 17. We think he was an Army Paratrooper.
He’s in better shape than J. Carter.
God bless him and Happy Birthday!!
My Father-in-law was a WWII navy vet. He was stationed aboard the Arizona but off duty 12/7/41. He worked rescue and recovery for three days without sleep. In addition to English, he spoke French, Spanish, Italian and German so the navy shipped him to the Atlantic where he later served in the flotilla supporting D-Day. He would have turned 109 a week or so ago.
Awesome!!
Happy Birthday sir!
“Feels” like he’s 50. Quality over quantity.
God bless you Sir.
