Youngkin Invokes Veto, Stops Virginia’s Entry Into Multi-State Vote Compact

WJ:

On Friday, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin vetoed a bill that would have required the state to rejoin a multi-state compact for maintaining voter registration lists.

The bill, which had passed along party lines in the Democratic-controlled state Senate, would have mandated Virginia’s return to the Electronic Registration Information Center, a nonprofit organization that facilitates the sharing of data from motor vehicle agencies and voter registries across multiple member states, according to WRIC-TV. more

  1. Good work, governor. Secretaries of the various stars: do your friggin’jobs.

It appears that the governor learned that these “nonprofit” organizations are typically hives of liberal activism a.k.a. Steal the Vote types.

  2. Good. See their website here: https://ericstates.org/

Not only do they claim to “improve the accuracy of America’s voter rolls,” their “Members also contact likely eligible but not yet registered individuals, providing information on how best to register.” Uh huh… and where do they do that? Enter the address on the website (1201 Connecticut Ave NW, Suite 600; Washington DC) into Google maps and you will find Expansive Workspace, one of those cubicle and meeting room rental places with a mail drop.

I would like to thank my governor for not sharing our voter rolls and DMV records with this ‘non-profit’ organization.

  3. That’s great, but it may be too little, too late. Jay Valentine has gotten to the heart of the matter and is doing yeoman’s work on exposing and rooting out the fraud, but the Uniparty is fighting him tooth and nail, albeit in a fight you’ve never heard of because they desperately need to keep him out of the news. All the other efforts to stamp out election fraud are allowed in the news because they are ineffective but give concerned voters the impression that something is being done.

And like Sippin’ Covfefe said, State SOS’s need to do their jobs. Jay Valentine can best tell them how.

We’ll see how good he is, 33 gun control bills headed to his desk. If he signs one, that will be a bad sign.

The GOP in VA has done nothing to eliminate mail in voting, and the Democrats are way better at it than they are. They also put Youngkin in by Caucus instead of primary because Virginians are too stupid to vote right 🤔

That should be interesting. Did the voters get a chance to vote on any of these? In 2016 we had Gunarmegedon in California. Also 33 bills. But we got to vote on them back then, six passed. There plan is to overload the public, or the Governor with a ton of these bills hoping a couple will go through.

We don’t get to vote on anything the “Representatives” propose, I guess we’re all too dumb for that too. Virginia is an incredibly corrupt state, has been since King James 1.

The only reason we have a Democrat majority in both state Senate and Congress is due to mail in voting. Many races were close mind you, but if you look at the state election website you’ll see that they were won by Democrat mail in votes at double to 6 times the amount of Republican mail in votes, especially where it mattered. It’s probably all gone now.

Youngkin is avowedly 2A, the Democrats are using this push to discredit him and will no doubt get the nearby “agencies” busy getting more basement dwellers to commit more horrific stuff right after a sweeping veto.

All this and of course Youngkin’s priority was a 2 billion dollar stadium.

    I don’t trust him.
