7. When you feed your dogs at 5 and it’s 5:10 and they look at you like: well, we’re waiting! How the hell do they know what time it is?

8. I have no idea how they know the time of day but they do. My soul-dog, Bruno, who passed a couple of years ago, always knew when it was time for meals & treats. He was a Boston terrier mix. Our current dog, Lizzy, is a border collie mix. We swear she not only knows meal times but it’s like she knows what’s supposed to be happening each day. And gives us such looks if we vary from regular routines.

10. It’s well known that zoo animals get antsy just before feeding time. God gave them a sense of time. Same with domestic animals and our pets.
