Zohran Mamdani Super PAC bankrolled by billionaire heiress despite socialist’s wish for billionaires to not exist

A pro-Zohran Mamdani super PAC has gotten a hefty donation from a billionaire heiress, despite the socialist candidate’s previous with stating that he did not want billionaires to exist. This comes as Mamdani has raised more than $1 million in direct campaign funds between July 12 and August 18, outpacing his rivals Andrew Cuomo and Erica Adams, according to data from the city’s Campaign Finance Board.

The pro-Mamdani PAC, New Yorkers for Lower Costs PAC received a contribution of $250,000 from philanthropist Elizabeth Simons, daughter of billionaire hedge fund manager Jamie Simons, according to the New York Post. Jamie Simons is the founder of Renaissance Technologies and has built a $31.4 billion fortune.

The donation comes despite Mamdani’s outspoken stance against the existence of billionaires.

“I don’t think that we should have billionaires because, frankly, it is so much money in a moment of such inequality, and ultimately, what we need more of is equality across our city and across our state and across our country,” Mamdani said in an interview on NBC News in June. MORE

  1. Really, a self hating jewess projecting her self loathing on everyone the rotten nasty See You Next Tuesday envies because they have managed to find fulfillment and joy in life she never has. We’ve never seen that before //s

The comments on X were hilarious about that little event. One in particular, “Yep, a true socialists. Let’s everyone else do the heavy lifting and still takes the credit for it” That’s one weak ass muzzie.

  3. Ya can’t make this shit up.
If any novelist or scifi writer were to publish this, they’d be banished from the writer’s guild.

  4. Her husband built a billion dollar business, and her job is to spend it and be a socialite. Over the years, I have run across many situations like this, but take away the money and the lifestyle and pretty soon the non-working spouse or trust fund baby is whining like hell.

I get into arguments like this frequently. I know many people who are well off financially, and they claim that taxes should be higher. Pro tip: there is nothing that prevents you from paying extra taxes. Bonus pro tip: you can also donate your fortune to whatever cause you want, and I can guarantee that more of that donated money will go to the intended beneficiaries than running it through the government.

Socialism is magic; if Mamdani are successful in enacting a socialist agenda, things will start disappearing. One may complain about income equality when it comes to folks like Bezos or Zuckerberg, but on the other hand they provide jobs for hundreds of thousands of people as well as products and services people want. Socialists don’t want any of that.
