In 2012 the NFL had an issue with Tim Tebow kneeling for each game to pray, they also had an issue with Tebow wearing John 3:16 as part of his eye black to avoid glare and made him take it off.
In 2013 the NFL fined Brandon Marshall for wearing green cleats to raise awareness for people with mental health disorders.
In 2014 Robert Griffin III (RG3) entered a post-game press conference wearing a shirt that said “Know Jesus Know Peace” but was forced to turn it inside out by an NFL uniform inspector before speaking at the podium.
In 2015 DeAngelo Williams was fined for wearing “Find the Cure” eye black for breast cancer awareness..
In 2015 William Gay was fined for wearing purple cleats to raise awareness for domestic violence.
(Not that the NFL has a domestic violence problem…)
In 2016 the NFL prevented the Dallas Cowboys from wearing a decal on their helmet in honor of 5 Dallas Police officers killed in the line of duty.
In 2016 the NFL threatened to fine players who wanted to wear cleats to commemorate the 15th anniversary of 9/11.
So tell me again how the NFL supports free speech and expression all of a sudden…
It seem quite clear based on these fact that the NFL has taken a position against any action by NFL players demonstrating RESPECT for any issue: For God, social causes such as mental health, cancer, domestic violence, for cops killed arbitrarily for being cops, for the Memory of 9/11…
But, they will allow demonstrations of DISRESPECT for our National Flag, our National Anthem, for America, and for the American People.
That is what the NFL has shown itself to be.
Pass this on. Honor our military.
Too many have come home with the American Flag draped over their coffins.
I’m not boycotting the NFL.I just stopped waving their fames. Have not watched one game or highlight this season will not watch any playoff game or super bowl. I will not allow myself to be spit on by these fools and then cheer and spend money to support them.

What I find disheartening is that many people who know better, put their addiction to football above love of country.
In Sept. 2002, Johnny Unitas (the legendary Baltimore Colt quarterback) died. aa tribute to Unitas, Peyton Manning of the Colts ordered 4 pairs of high-top cleats (like the one’s Unitas wore) to wear in the next game. he notified the NFL. the NFL said he would be fined $25,000 if he did.
the NFL drove the first nail in the coffin, for me, when they allowed a slovenly drunk of a skunk Robert Ursay to take the Colts out of Baltimore & Commissioner Paul Tagliabue told Baltimore to ‘shove it’. they have now driven in the last nail for me by siding w/ the ‘progressive’ socialist/communists & their stupid lackeys.

No Fans Left
‘Pro’ football is dead to me.
Football is on one of the TV’s in my house because my house guests want to watch it. But I am not watching.
No NFL in my household. Period.
You know, I don’t miss it a bit.
Any remaining fans should keep waving the Stars and Bars during the entire NFL game, just to piss off the brain-dead kneelers.

My F-i-L’s father is a little on the senile side at this point and wanted to watch the Titans/Rams game as opposed to Avatard or some other Disney BS.
So I have officially watched half of one game this year. And did it ever suck. For a home game, the Titans stadium looked like it was about 80% empty.
It’s cold. It’s rainy. It Christmas Eve. There really is no shortage of excuses.
Delanie Walker said if fans didn’t appreciate their protest then they didn’t need to come to the games. Rishard Matthews made more inflammatory comments many times since then.
Fuck ’em. The horse they rode in on. The MTA bus they can ride out on. And these overpaid thugs can pack their shit and GTFO.
