Why There Won’t Be Any Evidence Of Russian ‘Collusion,’ Explained In Just Two Paragraphs

Daily Caller: The narrative that President Donald Trump has questionable ties to Russia persists, even though evidence of collusion has yet to come to light and probably won’t.

Conservative blogger Jim Geraghty, a contributor for National Review and noted #nevertrumperexplained the complete lack of evidence in just two very straightforward paragraphs.

Are any Democratic lawmakers starting to fear that they’re not going to find that evidence? The intelligence community is presumably always watching the Russian government as closely as they can. The FBI counterintelligence guys presumably track Russian agents on our soil as much as possible. You figure the NSA can track just about any electronic communication between Russians and figures in the Trump campaign. If there was something sinister and illegal going on between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, the U.S. government as a whole had every incentive in the world to expose that as quickly as possible.

They didn’t expose it before Election Day, they didn’t expose it before the Electoral College voted, they didn’t expose it before Inauguration Day … How many months have the best investigators in the United States been digging into this?

The establishment media has repeatedly highlighted the president’s inexperience and incompetence, yet he has somehow been able to hide deep political orchestrations with Russia, a clear U.S. rival, from America’s most advanced surveillance apparatus on the planet.  more

  1. I found the link between Russia and our President, but it wasn’t Trump, it was Clinton. Remember when he sold the Loral guidance technology to Russia that they then sold it to N.Korea and by now Iran has it from the NORKs.

I bring this up to lefties all the time and they will either
    1. Walk away
    2. Ignore the facts and rant about Donald is going to start a war
    3. Get a blank look on their face. Then do # 1 or 2.

This is what a special prosecutor should be looking at along with lots of other Russian ties to the Clinton’s and their foundation.

  2. I have no doubt of collusion with russians-in the previous administration, not the current one – the keystone cops are simply ignoring the prime suspects.

  3. Yes, well, but sources close to the matter say investigators want to question somebody in Trump’:s inner circle, So they must be closing in for the kill. Straightforward from here, we much.

  4. I’d be careful about things with Comeys butt buddy in charge of the investigation. He’s a insider that will probably be destroying evidence to cover for his friends rather than exonerating Trump.

  5. Kinda funny, really … the Bolsheviks claiming that the Mensheviks have ties to the Russians!

Like the ignoramuses declaring that National Socialism is somehow different than plain-old vanilla Socialism, all the while knowing that both end up in oppression, slavery, and death.

    izlamo delenda est …

  6. The best the Dems can hope for is a process crime, like a ginned up “perjury” charge against some hapless mid-level Scooter Libby. I hope Trump isn’t forced to leave anybody on the field like that, but the GOPers will be all too happy to give the Dems a scalp to cover their shame.

  7. The joint FBI/CIA report on Russian collusion will be released tomorrow. The relevant portions as outlined by special agent Geisel are:

There’s a Russian behind that rock.
There’s a Russian in my sock.
There’s a Russian under the floor.
There’s a Russian behind that door.
There’s a Russian on the roof.
Look quickly, before he goes “poof.”

    Russians, Russians everywhere.
If Clinton were President, we wouldn’t care.

  8. Thirdtwin is right; someone will be “Scooter Libbied” for not remembering what they had for lunch a year ago, who paid the bill, and who left the tip.

  9. The modus operandi of the left is to first accuse the right of the crimes they are guilty of. That way the right will be back on its heels and by the time they recover they won’t do anything about it. Besides, it would look like foolish schoolyard behavior in the public’s eye to make the same accusations.

  10. Libs still crying Ronald Reagan colluded with the Iranians to hold the hostages until after the election.

“`We have no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, but the seriousness of these allegations, and the weight of circumstantial information, compel an effort to establish the facts,’ read a joint statement from Tom Foley and George Mitchell.

How did that work out in 1984 for the Democrats?

And has been said time and time again, Democrats do not learn from their past failures. Especially the 2017 version.

  11. Yes, as soon as the Clinton’s names are found under every overturned rock, the scandal will disappear. Just like a powerful New York politician did when investigators kept finding him or his lieutenants. Waddya know, the investigation ended. Shazaaaaayaam.

  12. I recall that during his tenure as President, Clinton ordered NASA and satellite manufacturers to give up data on launching technology for satellites and other detailed technical information to China to allow them to compete with NASA for commercial launching business. This gave them about a 10 or 15 year jump in the guided missile technology. Afterwords (or perhaps before) the Clinton war chest and DNC got a nice tasty big donation from a Chinese donor in the US. I think he was later charged and the Clinton’s forced to give back the money. In fairness the latter part could have been another sellout of the country by the Clintons in a long line of sellouts.

  13. The democ’Rats are still stunned they lost the presidency and so many seats in Congress. A good self-examination would do them good. But they won’t and probably wouldn’t understand it, anyway. The left is a dying breed and the RINO’s need to wake up. They will find themselves in the same boat. Hint: “The Titanic.”

  14. Ah, yes. The infamous Bush Paradox revisited. Just as Bush couldn’t have been both a bumbling idiot and the mastermind behind 9/11, Trump can’t be both an inexperienced political novice and an expert in international espionage capable of keeping secrets from the CIA.
