fantastic! thank you! would love to see these bands in person!
They should play at the inauguration.
“…Thurl Arthur Ravenscroft (/ˈθɜːrl ˈreɪvənzkrɒft/; February 6, 1914 – May 22, 2005) was an American voice actor and basso profundo known as the booming voice behind Tony the Tiger’s “They’re grrreat!” in Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes television commercials for more than five decades.
Ravenscroft was also known, albeit uncredited, as the vocalist for the song “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” from the classic Christmas television special, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas![1]…”
Just a little useless trivia I learned in honor of the 50th anniversary of “The Bitch Who Almost Stole America”. No wait, scratch that. I mean, “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”:
Oh what a voice and great performance. Sad to think it was probably the only Christmas song they were allowed to sing, due to Obama policies.
Didn’t Boris Karloff narrate the story?
@Odin – yes he did, but he couldn’t sing.
My new holiday favorite!!
And a good way to purge from the Obama years!
Hillary’s theme song?
We saw the USAF Academy Orchestra a few years ago. They were fantastic too. Formal with mess dress uniforms for most, but then they did some with old Army Air Corps tribute to Glenn Miller. They had a white sgt who did a spot on Sachmo Armstrong.
