No worries about this news. Biden says that 17 gazillion jobs were created in the May job report.
I’ve read several places where that number is 250K. A chain just closed 44 stores. Several Pizza places eliminated their delivery drivers. All of these places have cut their number of employees right down to the bare minimum. A state the size of California that 10K has to be a bull shit number.
That makes the real minimum wage $0/hr

Much like the crime statistics, we will never know the real numbers. All people will know is that there aren’t any jobs for unskilled workers in that line of work. Employers will try to figure out work arounds and government will try to counter them. Low skill people will have fewer opportunities and prices will increase.
This will require more government intervention of course, so expect it and expect things to just continue to get worse for the foreseeable future. If the communists weren’t in charge of the voting California could vote out the communists who have caused all this mess but up and down the west coast the communists control the vote counting so we are ‘out of luck’.
These are not unintended consequences.
Fast food is a convenience and a luxury, people will learn to do without it as prices keep rising.
The best deal in my small town on a burger basket with a small drink was $9.99 then 10.99. I went there yesterday, it was 13.99, I’m out.
Sadly people ignore economics. As we used to say “ignore economics and gravity at your own peril”. Unfortunately they ignore it at our peril.

I haven’t been to a fast food place in over 4 years – looks like I won’t be going to one (unless I need a purgative).
Newsom, Biden, Hochul, et al, are not ignorant of economics (or, at least, they have stooges and flunkies who know economics – they know EXACTLY what they’re doing) – they are EVIL and intent on destroying America – and succeeding because of our complacency.
