100,000 Eggs Stolen As Pennsylvania Police Try To Crack Case

Zero Hedge-

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an egg heist in Greencastle, about 65 miles southwest of Harrisburg, over the weekend. The very thought of such a crime may seem unimaginable, but with wholesale egg prices reaching record highs, the thieves appear to have been paying close attention to recent developments surrounding the worsening nationwide egg shortage.

Local media outlet WHP-TV reported approximately 100,000 organic eggs (worth > $40,000) were stolen from the back of Pete & Gerry’s Organics’ distribution trailer on Saturday night in Greencastle.  more

  1. That crime is no yolk. The cops scrambled all their investigators to work on the case as they hope to turn it over easy. The long hours have scrambled everyone working on the heist. It was probably conducted by some hard-boiled criminals.

  2. Jokes aside (and not dissing them at all), this situation is all on the “Biden” admin by forcing egg producers to kill thousands of chickens when one chicken was positive on bird flu tests.

Way overkill, but results in public panic… remind anyone of the covid ovekill?

    BTW, Trump will fix this.

  3. I hope that these egg thieves will end up with egg on their face when they’re caught. Where’s Super Chicken when you need him to solve this crime? Buck, buck, buck buckah! Foghorn Leghorn would say, “I say, I say, these boys need to be poached by the police and have their brains scrambled and let the yolk be on them.”

“BTW, why isn’t there a flu shot for these birds?”

Hey, that’s a good idea! I will pay for an mRNA product that infec…I mean, vaccinates the chickens and stays in their meat to get my mRNA in EVERYONE who eats them or their eggs!

Thanks for the idea! We’ll get to our population goals much sooner now!
