33 Anti-Lock Down Protestors Arrested In Sacramento, For The Simple Act of Gathering

Sometimes the headlines tell a story all by themselves…. That’s the case in Sacramento California where a group of frustrated and rebellious citizens sought to petition their home confinement order by using the first amendment.

Apparently protesting a governor for redress of grievances, during a time of arbitrary suspension of the first amendment to the U.S. constitution, is grounds for arrest.

As a result 33 Californians were were arrested for not complying with the governor’s order they were protesting against. More

  2. Perhaps symbolic protests are ineffectual. There are certainly other means of expressing dissatisfaction with government. Some of the latter are hugely effective.

    You don’t understand California. I can’t get away from the taxes, but other than that you would think my county is a very conservative chunk of Texas. Having said that, yea we are working our way out of here.

    Any county north of Sacramento are all pretty damn conservative. The problems are always where the sand meets the sea.

  7. TOOK A LYFT RIDE TODAY..I DON’T OWN A MASK..DRIVER TOLD ME I WAS LUCKY TO FIND A LYFT DRIVER TODAY DUE TO THE VIRUS, AND GAVE ME SHIT FOR PUTTING HIM AT RISK FOR NO MASK WHILE HE WORE HIS GIANT MASK ON HIS HUGE OBESE HEAD!!

    I TOLD HIM THAT HE HAS BOUGHT IN TO THE BULLSHIT AND THAT PERHAPS HE NEEDS TO STAY IN HIS BASEMENT IF HE FEELS UNSAFE WHILE THE REST OF US RISKTAKERS CONTINUE WITH OUR LIVES..

    WHY CAN WE GO TO SUPERMARKETS AND MANY OTHER RETAIL OUTLETS BUT NOT BEACHES, PARKS, TAKE HIKES, ETC.???

    THE SHAMING FROM THE LEFT IS GONNA GET SOMEBODY KILLED, AND IT MAY BE ME DOING THE KILLING!!

    ENOUGH BULLSHIT!! IF YOU’RE SCARED, STAY IN YOUR MAMA’S BASEMENT!!

  8. Also, I follow 6 L.A. County Sheriffs on Instagram. Their content is always Pro Gun, Pro Conservative, Pro Trump, etc.
    These guys all know each other. Middle of last week someone asked them how they were going to avoid arresting beach goers. After all “Freedom”. I’ll paraphrase their answer, and they were all headed down the same track.
    “We’re not. A Sheriffs Department is a Para Military Organization that depends on a chain of command and discipline to survive. You need to be patient, we may not agree with every order, but the survival of the department hinges on whether or not we do our jobs”.
    Things quickly escalated from there. It was pointed out to them that when it’s gun confiscation day they better call in sick so they don’t get shot.
    Anyway, that’s what we are up against.

    Awesome video. Ironically Sacramento is not all that Liberal. The Sheriff is very good at passing out carry permits. Even though the wait is up to about a year. Sacramento sucks because of all the damn SoCal and coastal Law Makers that are parked there.

Brad, you’re right about “The problems are always where the sand meets the sea.” Even though Puget Sound isn’t the sea, it’s still salt water, and Western Washington is run by liberals that for the most part are within 15 miles from salt water. Hell, maybe salt water has been the problem all along.

  17. Not sure why you’d go to the Capitol…..

    I like it better when it’s masses of people just doing what they want, going about their day.

    However, I’m all for people getting arrested. Once you go through it, the fear of the system goes away.

  18. The arrested should demand a jury trial. Their lawyer(s) need to instruct the jury about their right, duty, and responsibility for jury nullification.

  19. Trial? For what? They’re all in holding overnight. Probably gonna’ get cut loose tomorrow and go home with a lovely citation and some bills to pay.

    In the meantime I hope they don’t all huddle together. Jail is a great place to learn a lil’ something about the human condition.

  20. We had another protest in Maine this past Sat. The Augusta Police Chief sent a letter to the organizer that the police would be arresting people. Apparently the officers aren’t in agreement with the Chief. They were driving around smiling and waving at us. About 500 people on foot and hundreds of vehicles driving around the block for 3 hours.
