BPR: Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., an Army veteran, welcomed two fellow wounded veterans, Rep. Jim Baird, from Indiana, and Rep. Dan Crenshaw, from Texas, to Congress by tweeting a remarkable photo with his Republican colleagues.
An image that illustrates the tremendous sacrifice so many veterans have made for this great country.
“5 eyes. 5 arms. 4 legs. All American. Welcome to Congress, @ElectJimBaird & @DanCrenshawTX,” Mast tweeted, as the three men stood in the well of the House.

Stars and Stripes broke down the math by explaining that Mast lost both legs in 2010 while clearing improvised explosive devices in Afghanistan, while Baird lost an arm in Vietnam and Crenshaw lost an eye as a Navy SEAL serving in Afghanistan.
I suppose the dems could be heard hissing from their lairs.
Nice to see something sane and praiseworthy today.
Those men are great just for the fact they don’t make excuses for themselves. They are out there living life and achieving their dreams.
Brian Mast represente the district just north of mine here in Fla. He is the only pol to whose campaign I have ever given $$.
My own district’s rep, Lois Frankel, represents only the Jewish refugees from New York. who crowd Palm Beach County like a concentration camp.
Republicans have members to be proud of in stark contrast to some of the incoming democrats who are crass and despicable
