CA police union exec charged with attempt to import, sell valeryl fentanyl, officials say

The San Jose police union’s longtime executive director has been charged with attempting to import illegal synthetic opioid drugs from overseas in a scheme to distribute them in the U.S., federal prosecutors said. https://abc7ne.ws/3zje8vj

Joanne Marian Segovia, who has worked for the San Jose Police Officers’ Association for nearly 20 years, is suspected of using her home and office computers — and even the union’s UPS account — to order and distribute thousands of opioids and other pills.

  1. We often laugh at the antics of Randi Weingarten and her unhinged maniacal tirades on camera, but remove the histrionics and you have the majority of union leaders; unprincipled, deceitful, recalcitrant, and enthusiastically willing to bend and flaunt the rule of law and decorum.

They are like politicians, getting fat at the public trough, they feel even more emboldened to increase the largesse.
