60 Minutes Tries Building Narrative on the Impossibility of Massive Deportation

CTH

CBS’ 60 Minutes ran a lengthy outline earlier this evening consisting of questions to former Acting ICE Director Tom Homan about how President Trump will deport millions of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s illegal aliens.  [Article with Video Here]

The sympathetic CBS framework is essentially what you would expect: (1) the illegal aliens are earnest people, part of a poor huddled mass; and (2) there’s no humanitarian way to deport millions of them.  [Video Segment]  Tom Homan does a great job dispatching the narrative engineers of CBS.

  1. I learned as a child that if the people in charge said a thing could not be done it would not be done no matter how obvious and simple doing the thing would be. It was annoying and frustrating but educational. As an adult I became aware that if a person said he or she could not do a thing it would jot get done without a liberal application of the (figurative) lash or by replacing the recalcitrant person. The media commies are just doing battlespace preparation with the intent of retaining as many of the ilitterate, innumerate, unskilled, criminal illegal aliens as possible. Why is another thing but the aim is not in question.

  2. Even if only 25% are officially deported, many of the others aren’t going to want to go around looking over their shoulders all the time. Isn’t that what happened under Trump, Part 1?

  3. The biggest stumbling blocks will be the democrats, the press and their allies in the courts. President Trump will be blocked every step of the way with endless lawsuits, injunctions and more impeachments. Let’s hope he can overcome.

  4. Deporting them will cost less than keeping them – on welfare, and taking jobs and homes from citizens. Of course CBS knows this, they just want to confuse their viewers (which isn’t difficult).
Deporting is fairly simple: enforce federal law making it a crime for an illegal to work and for an employer to employ him. Trump can be nice about it and give them a grace period, but they can’t be working after, say Tax Day. After that he can be brutal, particularly with employers, if necessary to make his point. Most will self-deport, and I won’t mind paying a little more if we need to help cover one-way airfare.

  5. How about in Trump’s first day in office he announces monster fines to organizations that transport, feed, house, and hire the illegals. Include both private firms and government agencies. If he can’t do it through congress, then do it by EO.

The weenies will call him Hitler and a Nazi. Who cares? Anybody with a little bit of historical knowledge knows that Trump has no intension of invading our neighbors like Hitler did. We have huge tracts of land and we don’t need to steal land from other countries. Trump wants freedom and economic justice for the American people, not wars of conquest nor invasions from the south.

They are still calling Trump a Fascist judging from an article I just read by some nitwit journo. He tries desperately to link Trump’s MSG rally to the 1930’s Nazi Rally. The liberals are playing their next-to-last card.

  6. As long as we have to clean house, why not include the MSM? Send them to Cuba or North Korea. Maybe someplace where those shooting and those being shot at both scream alluh hwackbar?

  7. I did the basic math using the claimed capacity of all the cruise ships now afloat and figured it would take about 9 months to run them all back to Africa (yes, my numbers were NOT about the current immigrant flood…but its still a workable, doable task.

  8. Just cut them off. Impose HUGE fines to anyone who employs or houses an illegal alien, and ENFORCE IT. Cut off all of their government aid. With nowhere to work, nowhere to stay, They’ll leave on their own.

  9. You say we got people crossing the border illegally? Well, we could stop them here and send them back. Nah, let’s put them on planes and buses and ship them farther into our country.

Oh no. It’s the consequences of our actions.
Just remember, you voted for it.
