9th Circuit Court Upholds Ruling Blocking Border Wall Construction With Military Funds

Courthouse News

The Ninth Circuit on Friday ruled that President Donald Trump’s allocation of military funds for construction of his border wall was illegal, upholding a December 2019 ruling from a federal judge.

In 2019, U.S. District Judge Haywood Gilliam granted summary judgment to a slew of states and advocacy groups seeking to halt construction of the southern border wall. After Congress gave Trump $1.3 billion instead of his requested $5.7 billion for border wall funding, the president invoked the National Emergencies Act to declare an emergency at the southern border.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper said that over $3 billion reserved for construction projects within the military would instead go to border wall construction sites in four different states. More

  1. Or what? They think they can override a Preisdential invocation of an established Emergency law?

If Obama can give billions to Iran without congressional approval, funding the border wall does not require the 9th Circuit’s input.

Keep building and let the Amy Barrett rule on whether we still have separation of powers. Punctuate it with a GFY to the 9th.

  2. Every Asshole ‘judge’ that impedes the southern wall should have that many feet, yards, miles of their own fence, around their, (house, mansion, abode, hut, castle), be removed and exposed to the commie, leftist, antifa, BLM buttholes in accordance.

They preach, (without believing in a higher being), something about “equality’ for all.
    Let’s Give it to them.

  3. The Great Wall of China, Hadrian’s Wall, the Maginot Line in France, and Hitler’s Atlantic defenses were all military constructions.

La Raza’s stated goal of grabbing parts of the US southwest and incorporating them into Mexico or creating a new nation called Aztlan is reason enough for a militarized, fortified wall.

La Raza’s plan is what is referred to as the “Reconquista” or reconquest, of the Western U.S.

Liberals either ignore this threat or are OK with it.
