A day after news surfaced that Dan Marino had filed suit with fourteen other players against the NFL last week, the Hall of Fame quarterback intends to withdraw from the legal action, theSouth Florida Sun-Sentinal reports.
“It was never Marino’s intention to initiate litigation in this case, but to ensure that in the event he had adverse health consequences down the road, he would be covered with health benefits,” an anonymous source told the paper. “They are working to correct the error.
