Google Adds ‘Undo Send’ Feature To Gmail
Ever hit the ‘send’ button on an email and then suddenly realize you made a mistake and wish you could stop delivery?
Well now you can if you’re using Gmail. Google is activating an ‘Undo Send’ feature that allows you stop delivery of an email within a certain amount of time (up to 30 seconds).
Snip: Don’t forget to hit SAVE at the bottom of the screen.
It must just delay sending your email for that many seconds. I suppose that may be valuable for some.
I have never sent an email. Emails are forever. The government gets all emails ever sent. No thanks.
I tried it out. After you send your email you see a small notice at the top that says, “undo” and something else. I forget.
Other than using that, I usually do the, “Oops! Oh well, fuck it”
face, and move on. lol
Undo Google. Gmail owns all your emails for eternity. And the privacy rules can change at any time.
NEVER trust google.
bottom of what screen?
I want an undo function for the “confirm purchase” button that I’ve just clicked to buy something stupid from an online store.
