Suddenly I remember Jr High when a particular girl went around and started fights with guys one Winter.

Heh. I was at a large shed rock show in the mid-80s. One of the girls sitting in front of me was a classic concert screamer. When the act came on stage she screamed. And screamed. And screeeeeeeeamed.
The guy in front of her turned around and asked her to stop. She didn’t. He asked her again, a bit more forcibly. She didn’t stop.
Then he offered, “Look, if you don’t stop screaming, I’m going to smack you in the face!”
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEAMMM.
He turned around and open-handed her across the cheek.
No more screams for the entire show. No one accosted the young man for his actions. Everyone in the area could now hear the music.

When I was 19, our band had a weekend gig in a biker bar in Reseda. And one night a rather large redneck looking guy decked his wife with a loud sucker punch. Knocked her out cold.
