Sorry Boston, No Kimono Wednesday – IOTW Report

Sorry Boston, No Kimono Wednesday

The Museum of Fine Arts Boston thought it would be a nice “interactive experience” for its patrons to dress in Kimonos and pose in front of Claude Monet’s “La Japonaise.” Little did they know that it would be deemed R-A-C-I-S-T!

The experience apparently comes complete with ill dressed, humorless scolds.

So until further notice, Kimono Wednesday has been canceled.

I look forward to Seppuku Saturday

  1. So it’s one beta male Pajama Boy, apparently jealous he can’t wear the kimono?

Proof that Asian dominance lasts only as long as they keep their own culture. Americanize them and they become just as stupid as any white Worthless Studies graduate.

  2. Don’t these people have jobs, family responsibilities, social lives, hobbies or interests? Humorless scolds is accurate. Sorry to say that it appears to be women mostly, plus a few girly men.

  3. I hope they show up and protest all the anime cosplayers at ComicCon too. Between whiny women redrawing action heroes and that maybe a few millennials will wake the ‘eff up.

  4. If I lived in Boston I’d make a point of dressing in a Karate’ gi or how about a Sumo’s jock and go pose in front of the painting.

How about dress like a WWII Japanese prison guard then walk around near the painting snarl and snap at people to “Keirei!” (salute) telling them not to make look directly at me. Think they’d complain that was racist?

I just got done reading “Unbroken” – it’s a great book but the POW part is truly horrifying. The treatment of our prisoners by Japan truly was offensive, they didn’t hang nearly enough of the perpetrators after the war.

  5. Museums employ a lot of guards.
Why doesnt Security just escort these frustrated attention-whores out the front door?

And yes, what a sad and purposeless lot these Betas are.

  6. I LOVE THE IDEA!!!

IMAGINE: going to the Smithsonian’s Museum of African Art dressed as a tribal villager, Aunt Jemima, Little Sambo…THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!!!

    CELEBRATE DIVERSITY!

REMEMBER: You don’t have to be BORN a poor black child to BE (“identify” as) ONE for a day!!!
