The John Doe II investigation that raided, spied on, subpoenaed and intimidated multiple Conservative organizations in Wisconsin was launched on the pretext of coordination between the Scott Walker campaign and these independent political groups. The investigation has been halted and is awaiting an appeals ruling to drive the final stake into the heart of the monster.
This morning The WSJ is reporting that if there was any coordination going on at the time it was between Kevin Kennedy the director of Wisconsin’s Government Accountability Board (which was involved in the John Doe II investigation) and the IRS’s Lois Lerner.
“The emails indicate the two were also personal friends who met for dinner and kept in professional touch.”
The WSJ states that Lerner’s lawyer isn’t commenting on the story and Kennedy has declared “Ms. Lerner is a professional friend who I have know for 20 years.”
