This country is blinded by a lack of Cold War memories and an understanding of just how evil and insidious Communism was and is.
I suspect this collective amnesia will continue till enough people here get a big dose if its tyranny through its surrogates. Of course by then the damage will be extensive, but apparently we will have to suffer so the major gains an appreciation of what centralized control really means.
